RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — On Thursday, Congressman David Worth (NC-04) and Congresswoman Deborah Ross (NC-02) introduced that the Federal Transit Administration has awarded $35 million to the Metropolis of Raleigh for the design and building of the Wake Bus Fast Transit: New Bern Avenue Venture.
The challenge contains ten new stations and 7 Bus Fast Transit-style autos.
Service in BRT lanes will ease congestion alongside the hall and accommodate demand by offering an environment friendly mode of transportation to main Wake County locations, bettering entry for low-income residents, senior residents and different underserved populations to main employers and medical amenities within the hall.
